SDL Trados Studio Training for Translators

About SDL Trados
The computer-assisted translation (CAT) software Trados (SDL Trados Studio - https://www.sdltrados.com/) reduces the direct time spent on translation by an average of 30%. Trados will simplify, speed up, and make your translation process more terminologically accurate. The program remembers translations completed over the years and offers them to you with an indicated percentage of a match (45% Match, 95% Match, 30% Match).
The SDL TRADOS computer program allows you to:
-
Avoid re-translating words and sentences you have already translated. The program offers translation options based on your previous work (with match rates of 30%, 40%, 70%, 80%, and 100%).
-
Ensure terminological consistency throughout your translated documents. If you encountered a complex term a month, a year, or many years ago and spent a lot of time on its translation, you won't need to spend that time again—the translation memory will provide you with the solution.
-
As you gain more experience, you will translate more, and your translation memory will grow accordingly. You should trust the program to recall this memory and use it appropriately. This will allow you to spend less time on translation and increase your productivity.

InDesign, Photoshop, CorelDRAW Training for Translators

Written translation requires full compliance with the original text. If you ultimately entrust this work to a designer alone, the risk of incorrect text overlay increases significantly, as a designer, in most cases, does not speak the foreign language in which the translation was performed! Furthermore, it's a significant time-saver for the translator to directly edit material in the form of an image or a vector file by placing the corresponding translation directly.
The training is specifically designed to handle practical materials, which involves processing existing graphic files that translators of various languages may need in their work.
The ultimate goal of a completed translation is its usefulness. Documents that include graphic materials become virtually useless or their usefulness is significantly reduced if this material is excluded. Therefore, it is crucial that the final translation product fully and meticulously preserves the original formatting, including all graphic materials: diagrams, infographics, drawings, and other types of visual content.
