Simultaneous and consecutive interpretation services can also be provided using Zoom (Interpretation Module), Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet.

For simultaneous interpretation, a dedicated space (interpreter booth) with ideal sound isolation is provided so that the interpreter’s voice does not interfere with the speaker. The booth is equipped with a microphone and headphones. Sometimes, simultaneous interpretation is performed without technical equipment, such as at diplomatic meetings or business lunches, in which case the process is carried out as whispered interpretation.

Simultaneous interpretation is highly demanding and can cause rapid fatigue; therefore, interpreters typically rotate every 30–40 minutes.

A simultaneous interpreter must have excellent memory, strong linguistic abilities, high concentration and attention distribution, quick reaction times, physical stamina, good hearing and vision, clear diction, and the ability to manage stress.
